With the universal church now engaged in the journey to synodality, Self Awareness and Self Management are foundational competencies that laity and ordained must have, if we are to strengthen our relationship with the Trinitarian God, spiritually listen to each other and understand the inseparable connection between that and nurturing relationships with each other.
THE Archdiocese of Port of Spain is interested in building the capacity of a cadre of Volunteer Facilitators who would assist those tasked with leading the journey of the Synod on Synodality in parishes, in developing these foundational competencies. The Facilitators will be trained and will in turn offer their services in our parishes.
We invite expressions of interest from persons who are already in the field of facilitation, counselling, spiritual direction and/or persons willing to be trained as facilitators and who will be open to stewardship in this ministry.
