Welcome to the Catholic Religious Education Development Institute (CREDI)

CREDI is charged with the Goal of promoting “integral human development” (Caritas in Veritate #11) in the Archdioceses of Port of Spain.

Its programmes are designed to foster the growth of participants to become the best version of themselves. 

In a spirit of collaboration with the other Commissions, Departments, Companies and Ecclesial groups of the Archdiocese. CREDI’s aim is to:

• Educate for a critical consciousness and social awareness so as to inspire participants to integral human development;;

• Deliver programmes that allow participants to grow in self-knowledge and self-confidence, as they become servant leaders in different ways.

• Offer programmes of education based on a deep respect for the human person, intellectual values and Catholic traditions.

• Develop a cadre of missionary disciples for service to parishes, schools, and the national community.
