This virtual book club creates a space whereby through communal reading and discussion of some of the great works of literature in the Christian Tradition and Western Civilisation, to develop a community of critical thinkers to ponder the fundamental questions of life and be inspired to critically engage with contemporary society building on the perennial truths that shaped our civilisation.
Book Read
In this Virtual Book Read Club, participants explore some of the most influential works in the Christian tradition and Western civilisation. Together, they cultivate a vibrant community of critical thinkers, engaging deeply with fundamental questions of life, faith, and society. The course encourages participants to connect timeless insights from classical texts with contemporary issues, fostering thoughtful reflection and meaningful dialogue. Sessions are usually held on Mondays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom, facilitated by Fr. Matthew Ragbir. This year, the group has successfully completed two books and is currently studying the third book, continuing a rich journey of intellectual and spiritual growth.
